|Google Checkout Going Away in Six Months!|

Here’s a bad news for Google Play developers and merchants who are using Google Checkout as a default payment option and an alternative to PayPal. Google has announced that the service is going away on November 20, 2013.
Although, Google Play developers will be moved to Google Wallet for the payment procedures. Google said that it needs an online payment processing solution for web merchants and has partnered with Freshbooks, Braintree, and Shopify. These are not free services and Google will be offering the services to merchants at discounted migration options.
For shoppers using Google Wallet, Google is also offering "Google Wallet Instant Buy", which will deliver a fast buying experience. Merchants will be provided with an Instant Buy API to develop a faster checkout process for websites or Android applications.
In order to engage better with customers with special coupon offers and loyalty programs, merchants will be able to use Wallet Objects API. The experience is however same for the shoppers. Google [...]
